Rine, Haus, Long & Harro Earn 2008 Titles For Salem RV Motorsports
Jeff Rine was as dominant as ever in 2008 as he picked up his second consecutive track title at Selinsgrove Speedway. Rine picked up six victories at the big half mile including the season ending win in the Paul Long Memorial. Scotty Haus equaled Rine's honors, by picking up his second consecutive track title at the Port Royal Speedway.
Go kart veterans Nathan Long and Brice Harro of Selinsgrove continued thier point racing dominance in their respective classes. Nathan earned the championship in the Pennsylvania Dirt Kart Series by winning five of the six events. Nathan also finished second overall in the National headline in the WKA National Dirt Series. A series that Long won a year before.
Brice Harro picked up only three victories in 2008, but the consistency of top three finishes gave Brice his fourth career Selinsgrove Raceway Park track title, and third in a row.
Both Nathan and Brice will have differant ventures next season. Nathan will be moving up to the Nationally known Legend car series, racing throughout the east coast, while Brice will be moving into the 125cc Rookie Micro class. Salem RV wishes both of them, as well as all of the Salem RV Motorsports drivers, continued success, and many victories in 2009.
